The official signature of the agreement on cultivating the undergraduates between SMU and New Haven University

A group led by Su Zheng, the President of Logistic Engineering College and Ziqi Xu, the head of the department of industrial engineering went to New Haven University to attend the signing ceremony “Shanghai Maritime University——New Haven University agreement of cooperation on cultivating undergraduates of Industrial & Systems Engineering ”. The reception was held by David Dauwalder, Vice President and Dean of Studies of New Haven University, Ronald S.H, Dean of Mechanical Engineering College, Ira H.K, assistant president in charge of the foreign students, as well as the head of  Department of Systems Engineering and head of Department of Industrial Engineering. They had a profound discussion about the efforts that have been made and the sincerity as well as details about the cooperation. After the signing ceremony, President Ron accompanied the group to visit campus, including the main buildings of each college, library and the students’ gym, etc. He focused on introducing all labs of the Mechanical Engineering College. New Haven University has rich experience in cultivating students’ practical abilities and its distinctive structure of the labs left people a deep impression.
