Research Methodology（科研方法討論）——General Issues and Practice (Fundamentals)
講座摘要🧙🏻♀️：This seminar series will provide PhD/MSc students with research skills required to carry out research projects. These skills include academic writing and literature review, presentation skills, project management and team work, as well as IPR and research ethics issues in engineering contexts. On successfully completing this series students are expected to be able to
(1) identify the current status of a particular research area and define the state-of-art in the area.
(2) plan a research project, including the definition of objectives, project management, experimental design and data analysis, verbal presentation and scientific writing
(3) undertake research using logical and effective methodologies, taking into account issues regarding IPRs and research ethics
(4) communicate with peers and understand team dynamics and roles in research projects
個人簡介🫙：盧鋼教授長期以來致力於新型燃燒檢測與診斷技術的研究，具有豐富的儀器儀表理論知識和工業現場測試經驗，參與並主持完成了由英國政府👨🏿🦱、歐共體和工業界等資助的10多項大中型科研項目。已發表SCI🧜🏻♂️、EI👨🏻🦱、核心期刊、國際會議論文90余篇，其中20余篇被SCI收錄👨🦽➡️。獲英國專利發明兩項。2005年獲英國測量技術創新獎🈵，2006年英國工程技術協會(IET)工程技術創新獎(電力與能源類-新型火焰成像與監測技術)🩸，2009年獲英國物理協會傳感器及其應用會議優秀論文獎。The ‘Highlights of 2011-2012’ (only 37 papers) published in Measurement Science and Technology (IOP). 現為英國註冊工程師，IEEE高級會員👵，英國能源協會會員。IEEE «儀表與測量»，IOP «測量科學與技術»🙌🏼，IET《圖象處理》，《IET科學，測量與技術》⭕️，以及《燃料》，«過程控製»，«化學工程通訊»等國際學術刊物審稿人。
